Insulated flexible copper bars for power distribution inside the panel.

Inside a panel, a rigid copper bar has to be cut, bent and drilled to reach from one point to another, and every bend is a piece of workshop time. A flexible insulated bar carries the same current but bends to the route, so the connection between a main switch and a distribution block can be made without fabricating a bar for that exact geometry.
The bar is made of copper foils overlapping each other and coated with a special PVC compound. The layered construction is what makes it flexible — each foil moves slightly against the next when the bar is bent — while the total cross-section still carries the current of a solid bar of the same size.
Between the main switch and the distribution busbar, between busbar and outgoing breakers, and anywhere the connection has to pass around equipment inside the enclosure rather than run straight. Because the bar is insulated along its length, it can pass close to other live parts without the clearance a bare bar would need.
Yes. 2 m is the standard length and other lengths are produced upon request.
1000 V AC and 1500 V DC, with PVC insulation in the UL94 V0 flammability class.
Because it removes the cutting, bending and drilling needed to make a rigid bar fit a particular route, and because the insulation lets it pass close to other live parts without the clearances a bare bar requires.
